Hundreds of people came together to celebrate at the South West Contact Centre Awards, which were held at Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol on Thursday 29 June and we were there!
Over 500 guests joined host Jimmy Carr to celebrate the very best the South West has to offer within the 250 contact centres across the region.
Organised by the South West Contact Centre Forum, the awards celebrate the outstanding customer service provided by individuals, teams and managers within the contact centre industry over the last 12 months.
From our talented Customer Services team, we had four individuals as well as a team shortlisted for the awards, which included Team Leader of the Year and Customer Engagement Strategy, with Emma Parrish triumphantly winning Newcomer of the Year.
Emma said: "I am absolutely stunned! I was extremely happy to find out that I'd been nominated by colleagues and to make the final was the icing on the cake - I certainly didn't expect to win. I'm really lucky to work with a great bunch of people who have just as much to celebrate because if it wasn't for them, I wouldn’t be here tonight."
Our head of customer services, Vanessa Blake said: "Everyone within our contact centre works extremely hard to make certain we're providing the very best for our customers. It's so important that great customer service is recognised and applauded and I am so proud of our team's achievements."
We wish our sincerest congratulations to Emily Pomeroy-Smith, Francine Andrews, Tori Slade and the Customer First team for making the finals, with a special congratulations going to Emma for winning in her category.
