Did you know Tru-Green envelopes use materials made from materials harvested from natural
crops, where other envelopes use plastic that takes hundreds or even thousands of years
to degrade in landfill sites?
Carbon footprint offsetting
To offset the carbon footprint of the products manufacture and distribution we
participate in a carbon emissions offsetting scheme.
The Tru-Green Story
The Consortium has developed Tru-Green with inventor Prakash Korde, whose company Valueform
specialises in producing packaging and other items from biodegradable plant materials.
The production of the envelopes provides income for hundreds of people who manufacture the envelopes
in one of the poorest regions of mid-West India. Read on...
