Placing an Order

What is displayed on the trolley page?

On the trolley page you will see the item code, description, lead time, quantity and price of all items you have added to your trolley.

What do the status’s mean?

    • Green Tick – Ok, The item is in stock and available to order.
    • DD – The item will be delivered directly to you from one of our supplies.
    • Red Warning – The Item is no longer available to purchase you will have to remove it from your trolley before you can place your order.
    • Amber Warning – We don’t currently have enough stock for the items you wish to order, any orders you put on will be shipped as soon as we have stock.

What is the lead time for?

If an item is direct delivery we show you the standard delivery time for this item so you have an initial idea of how quickly you could receive this item. Please note some items are seasonal and lead times may be extended during these busy times.

How do I change the quantity of an item I wish to order?

Simply update the box with the quantity in for this item then click on “update” this will the recalculate the correct prices.

How do I remove an item from the trolley?

Next to the item you wish to remove then is a “Remove” button, click on this and the item will be removed from your trolley.

How do I select a delivery date?

Once you have clicked place order on the trolley page you are taken to the order summary page when you can then select a delivery date from the calendar by simply clicking on the date you require. Please note you will not be able to select weekends or bank holidays.

What is “For the attention of” for?

This needs to be entered on every order and it will be printed on the label on the box.

Why do I need to enter an order reference?

All orders on the system need a unique reference to your account, when you enter a reference it will be checked to make sure that it doesn’t already exist.

How do I select my method of payment?

After you have entered all of your details in the order summary page you are take to a final confirm order page where you can select method of payment. This can be either on your account or credit card.

How do I print a copy of my order?

Once you have placed your order you get confirmation with an order number, from this page there is a link to “View Order Details”. This will take you to the order summary which includes the following which you can then print off. Order Number, Order Reference, Delivery Address, Items with Item Code, Description, Item Price, Line Value, Line Source (Stock or DD) Delivery date, Quantity Ordered and its status.
