The Consortium is providing art supplies for the "Banksy Art Packs" that are being donated by KidsTees.com to primary schools across Bristol.

KidsTees.com, started in 2008 by Push Merchandising Ltd, sells a popular range of graphic print t-shirts featuring classic images from the well known anonymous British street artist Banksy. They are using the proceeds from the sale of these t-shirts to finance the art packs being sent to schools in the Bristol area, where Banksy grew up.

Each Banksy Art Pack is worth just over £100 and contains a range of art supplies from The Consortium including glue sticks, colouring pens, ready mixed paints, balloons, chalks, glitter shakers and crayons. The packs are intended to supplement school’s art budgets and support creativity and learning.

Along with the art packs, the selected schools will also receiving a book, Wall and Piece, about the famous street artist Banksy and his work to help inspire them.

The Art Packs that have already been sent out have proved to be big hit with the schools who have received them; Jane Doherty from Ashton Park School in Bristol commented "The Art department is chuffed to bits. It's not often the school gets free supplies!"

West Town Lane Primary School is already putting their art packs to good use: "We think it's great that Push Merchandising is donating art and craft materials to Bristol schools as a way of paying royalties to Banksy. We're already putting the materials received from The Consortium to good use!"
